Hello Minnehaha Parents & Families,
I hope the 2018 has gotten off to a great start for you and your families. We’ve
certainly hit the ground running at Minnehaha, and it’s been great to see all of
our students’ faces and smiles again after the Break.
January is a time of deep & extended learning as teachers continue to focus on
those “got to know” standards with students, ahead of our second round of
benchmark assessments (the iReady diagnostic) which will begin later this
month in both Reading & Math.
There are several upcoming opportunities available for our upper grade students
– basketball signup is due at the end of this month, our Art & Dance club
begins in a few weeks, and our middle school open house events (VSAA &
iTech) have begun this week!
Don’t forget – there is no school on Monday, January 15 in observance of
MLK day.
