The Veterans Assembly is November 10th, 9:30 AM this year and we would like to have a presentation of the Veterans in our community.
Sending a picture via email to Stephanie.Kennedy@vansd.org is the preference
Please make sure it is clear who is in the picture, what division of the Armed Forces they are in, what war they served in if pertinent, and what family (including student) they are affiliated with.
If you send a picture with your child, please be sure to have a name on the back. DO NOT USE STICKY NOTES as they can come off, revert to the front and remove part of the picture
Please have all pictures in to Stephanie Kennedy by October 20th so that she has time to prepare the presentation.
The community is invited to this assembly and we would be honored if you would invite all Veterans or any current member of the Armed Forces.
We will be singing songs of our country and considering why these members of our community are important to remember and honor with narrations from our students.
