On behalf of all of us here at Minnehaha Elementary – have a Restful, Relaxing, and Restful SPRING BREAK! We are looking forward to a strong, rigorous finish to the school year when we return in April!
With state testing season just about upon us, please be watching for additional testing schedules and reminders for students in grades 3-5. As a reminder, all 3rd-5th graders participate in the Smarter-Balanced Assessments (SBA) in both English Language Arts (ELA) & Math. Additionally, our 5th graders take a science assessment. The assessments are completed online, and our students take them on laptops, desktops, and ipads, depending on the grade and availability. More information to come, but our assessments are slated to begin towards the end of April. Your child’s teacher will have the most up-to-date testing schedule; please don’t hesitate to connect.
