Happy Memorial Day! The unofficial start of summer is here! With the unseasonably (but nice!) warm
days this Spring, all of us at Minnehaha are looking forward to switching from our “boiler” to our “chiller”
here in the building to get some of that cool air going throughout the building in the afternoons!
After this weekend, there are just 13 full and 2 early release days left of the school year! My how the time
has flown by!
As we get closer and closer to the end of the school year, energy and excitement by students and staff rises.
Be sure to connect with your child’s teacher(s) to get the most up-to-date information and dates regarding
any remaining field trips, class celebrations, and other fun events.

Thursday, May 31: Blue Ribbon Track meet
Thursday, May 31: Camp Out with a Good Book literacy event, 6:00-7:30pm
Friday, June 1: Minnehaha PTA Fun Run!
Thursday, June 7: 3rd grade Cultural performance (afternoon & evening performances)
Friday, June 15: 2-hr early release
Monday, June 18: 5th grade Promotion, 9:30am
Monday, June 18: 2-hr early release + LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
