Happy Fall! As the days get shorter, and the wet weather arrives, please remember to send your children dressed for the weather. In Vancouver, we go outside when it is raining J. This means that boots, long pants, coats, jackets, and umbrellas are good things and help our students to have fun outside and still be able to successfully transition back to inside learning.
Our teachers are in the middle of our Fall Tier mtgs, where we meet as grade level teams with office and support specialists, and ensure that academic & social/emotional instruction for all students at all levels are in place. We work hard to ensure high levels of rigor are in place for every child – those needing additional supports and also those needing additional enhancements and challenges.
Please remember our Veteran’s Day assembly is at 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 6. We want you to invite all veterans to join us as we honor them.
